Established in 2023, the Abu Dhabi Projects and Infrastructure Centre (ADPIC) is the strategic engine driving the Emirate’s infrastructure transformation. ADPIC acts as the master orchestrator of capital project governance, managing the full lifecycle of Abu Dhabi's major developments; spanning housing, mobility, tourism, education, community facilities, and cultural assets to build a resilient, future-ready society.
Chaired by H.E. Mohamed Ali Al Shorafa, Member of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, the Centre provides comprehensive, end-to-end oversight of a capital projects portfolio exceeding AED 200 billion.
By redefining capital planning as a pillar of strategic execution, ADPIC ensures that long-term ambitions are effectively translated into tangible infrastructure outcomes. The Centre validates the strategic alignment, readiness, and public value of every project before capital is allocated. Through a unified governance framework that integrates planning, funding, and oversight, ADPIC accelerates project delivery, standardizes contracting practices, and strengthens fiscal discipline to reinforce absolute investor and public trust.
As a catalyst for economic growth, ADPIC actively fosters public-private partnerships (PPPs) to drive industrial innovation, local supply chain integration, and high-value job creation.
